Is it painful?

Skin tightening is never supposed to be painful. There may be some slight discomfort as the subdermal tissue temperature is heated to promote collagen growth. However, it is only minimal and dissipates as the handpiece is moved over the treatment area.

How many treatments are necessary?

At Viola, we strive to offer each client the utmost care. Each treatment is tailored to their specific goals and needs. With that said, the number of treatments is dependent on each client’s unique needs. More pronounced laxity or deeper wrinkles may require more treatments. We suggest having a consultation to build a treatment perfect for you.

How much downtime is required?

As a non-invasive treatment, skin tightening requires little to no downtime at all.

Are there side effects?

There are no long-term side effects associated with laser skin tightening treatments. The skin may appear slightly red or flushed following treatment due to the thermal energy. Clients are advised to avoid makeup immediately following treatment and should use sunscreen to protect themselves from the sun.
