What does microneedling do for skin?

Microneedling FAQs

Does it hurt?

Microneedling uses needles to pierce the outer layer of skin safely; this can feel uncomfortable. Before the procedure, a numbing cream is applied, which reduces any discomfort; however, the treatment will feel like a needle gently puncturing the skin and is tolerable.

How is my skin after the treatment?

After treatment, the skin will appear red and slightly swollen for a day or two. Skin will be back to normal within a week, just more radiant, balanced, and even.

How quickly are results visible?

Rejuvenated skin is noticeable 5-8 days following treatment, with continued results over time.

Are there any side effects?

Some clients experience redness, stinging, itching, and tightness. Side effects experienced with micro-needling will usually subside within 48 hours.

How many treatments will I need?

Treatment schedules are dependent on the client and their skin condition. In general, roughly 3-8 treatments spaced 4-6 weeks apart are needed.
