few days ago, I came across this short video on Facebook about foods and drinks that can keep our skin healthy. The tips are similar to what I discuss with my skin care clients at Viola Laser and Skin Care Clinic in Toronto; healthy eating, diets rich in vitamins, antioxidants, polyphenols, etc…
Aside from having a healthy diet, we all should reduce sun-damage to our skin by using proper sun screen creams [ btw, we carry Alyria and Sothys(Paris) sun screen creams; they are really great! ]. It was interesting that Dr. Erin Gilbert mentioned in the video that Tomatoes can actually be helpful in healing of sunburn damages.
Organic fruits and vegetables are a great source of vitamins such as vitamin C. We have all used fruits like mango as a mask!
Try to include berries, mango, strawberries, and kiwis in your daily diet.
Instead of sugary drinks and juice, drink more water and green tea and ocassional red wine!
